Why Be A Christian?

Many people just don’t see the need to be a Christian. Consider the following reasons of why it is important for you to follow God.

Because God loves you.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have

Because of the price Christ has already paid for your soul.

“…While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Because the world’s best people are Christians.

“I thank my God on every remembrance of you.” Philippians 1:3

Because Christianity is the best way of life.

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God and keep his commandments, for this is man’s all.” Ecclesiastes 12:13

Because Christians have the privilege of prayer.

“…The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16

Because Christianity is the path to true happiness.

“…I have come that they may have life and they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

Because Christ gives us courage and strength to face problems.

“…but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape; that you may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

Because Christianity gives us reason to live and to die.

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

The better question to ask is, “How could anyone not be a Christian?” “Blessed by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3
